ADSS — All-Dielectric Self-Supporting
ADSS carries the fiber on a dielectric strength member instead of a steel messenger, so aerial spans need no bonding and nothing to rust. A flexible workhorse for neighborhood feeder runs from 12 up to 144 fibers.
- 12–144 fibers
- 100–400 m self-supporting spans
- IEC 60794-4 compliant
- All-dielectric — no grounding, no messenger
Aerial without the steel
All-dielectric
No metal means no bonding to the pole and no corrosion path.
Self-supporting
The strength member carries the load — single-pass aerial install.
Wide fiber range
12 to 144 fibers in one construction family.
Long spans
Reaches 100–400 m between supports.
Tight protection
Loose tubes, gel/flooding and a PE outer sheath.
Low maintenance
No messenger to inspect or replace over time.
